Our Facilities

We offer a full range of services to you and your pet.

All Surgery takes place at Northfleet which was purpose built in 1986 - we have full surgical, medical, dental, X-ray and ultrasound capability allowing most routine and emergency cases to be promptly dealt with on site.

Emergencies are dealt with at Northfleet by staff Veterinary Surgeons who have access at computerised client records at all times - this ensures the highest standard of care.

Anaesthesia has our highest priority we use only the best anesthetic agents Rapinovet and Isoflurane which are both used in human medicine.

We run Puppy parties, Senior clinics and a Weight reduction programme free of charge as a service to our clients.

Specialised equipment includes - Endoscope (non surgical examination of the gut and airway), Electrocardiogram (used in the diagnosis of heart disease).

Our Recovery facility is fully air conditioned. Nursing care is available at all times. We have a dedicated exotic ward opened in 2002 which has specialist facilities for birds, reptiles and small mammals. An intensive care unit was opened in 2005.

The Practice laboratory - purpose built in 1998 allows on site investigation of many diseases in most cases with same day results.

We have a large Car park at Northfleet (accessible via Coopers Rd) the surgery has wide doors and a wheelchair ramp There is a large free car park adjacent to our New Ash Green premises.

Our aim is to keep your pet healthy throughout life and we believe Regular health checks are essential providing an opportunity to discuss al aspects of pet care. All puppies and kittens presented for vaccination and all pets having booster vaccinations receive a full check at no extra charge.

We stock a comprehensive range of Pet care products, Food and Specialised diets. Our vets and nurses receive regular training and can offer the best advice on all aspects of pet care. We believe the products we sell are the best available and our prices are set to be competitive with comparable products available from pet stores and retailers.

Home visits are available, however treatment at the surgery where staff and equipment are on hand is often more effective. If you require a home visit please phone between 9am and 11am if possible.

When the need arises for an animal to be put to sleep we will be caring and supportive requests for home visits will be sympathetically received. All euthanased pets are cremated. Individual cremations are available on request.

We can look after our client's older cats, and those on medication, for short stays ( up to 14 days ) eg holidays or " respite care ". The separate cattery for this service is in a quiet part of the building and each cat is provided with comfy and warm accomodation. Each cat is weighed regularly throughout their stay and health is obviously carefully monitored.
